Pneumatic Fingers Cycling Tester
This contact tester series is designed to life cycle pressing of switches, buttons, keypads, and membrane switches. These testers can be used for contact testing as well as general mechanical and cosmetic button wear. It uses a silicone finger test probe which conforms to ASTM 1578 and ASTM 1597. Using an automatic shut-off, the cycle tester can obtain the lighter 8 oz, 16 oz. and 32 oz loads using standard end arm spring calibrated spring assemblies. Higher pressing loads can be obtained by using the pneumatic pressure regulator as the force control. Pressing velocities can be adjusted using the pneumatic valve control located conveniently on the top of the actuator.
